The liberal media and far-left commentators have done their best to intimidate me over the years. I have had the distinction of having them call me names and make personal attacks because I would dare propose that maybe parents are some of the best people to make decisions about their own children or that we don’t need to accept every handout from the Federal Government. Well I’m still standing.
Those elected officials who are worried what the media may say about them are useless to voters. I simply figured out that it doesn’t matter what they write about you on some left-wing blog or what some talking-head on cable television has to say.
What really matters is the job we as elected public officials are sent to City Hall, or Jefferson City or Washington to do. Who matters are the people we are elected to represent. As your next State Senator I will speak up on your behalf unafraid, because the only opinion that matters to me is yours.
